Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the very first woman to have ever won the two CrossFit Games. She placed second in the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She was the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at an early age. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 in 2021. She is 5' 7 tall and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie started with her CrossFit training in the year 2009, in California. Her performance was impressive during her first competitions. She ranked among the top 10 in a field of 70. However, she didn't win a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment earned her the title. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration as well as Sidekick Yerbae. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are shared.
