Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in America, is an actress. Her film debut was during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack of actors and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for the best female character. This was due to her portrayal as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than twenty years. She began her film career with the crime drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She was praised. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn as well as Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. After her breakthrough in her first film, she also appeared in the 1985 comedy drama The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club is regarded as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. The film was made for just $1,000,000, but the film made over $50 million. Meanwhile she had also started participating in various television shows like CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. It was a show specifically for teens that began airing in April of 1980. The other shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about the superhero X-Men where she is a cameo. Sheedy is known for her incredible performances. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times, including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
